6/4/13 Harry and Tom Green had 158lb of fish between them, including two twenty pound commons and nine other doubles, mostly commons, all of which fought hard.

25/4/12 Harry did an overnighter on Coot and had 14 carp tp 19lb.

4/5/13 Tom Flack did an overnighter and had a bagful of carp-the biggest being 18lb and 22lb.

MAY 2013 Coot Lake as ever has been producing too many to list with many anglers having large numbers of carp. Always good for some sport!

1/6/13 Weekend report on Coot is that plenty are still coming out to weights over 20lb.

15/6/13 Coot continues to produce multiple catches up to mid twenties

22/6/13 Coot lake was busy this weekend but nevertheless fished really well with Jess Parnell and Steve Cuttler doing particularly well with at last score heading towards twenty fish biggest being seventeens.

21/7/13 Tom Flack pulled his rods in at 4pm after over a 100lb of carp disturbed his sleep during the night – all mid to high doubles.

27/7/13 Good selection of doubles this week and weekend- biggest reported a 19lb 9oz caught by John.

4/8/13 John and Kev ended their week’s stay having had plenty of fish-details to follow.

10/8/13 Paul Robinson had six carp tp 15lb and Harry Green eight also to 15lb.

29/8/13 Glen Cooper had three commons and a 17lb 4oz linear as well as some impressive bream. Guest Jane had a PB common of 17lb 8oz and another at 13lb 8oz. John Dolling(Big John) had six carp up to 14lb 8oz

31/8/13 Ivan Woodrow enjoyed his first day on Coot Lake, banking three commons and three mirrors with the biggest over 20lb.

7/9/13 John D went home after a week and a half, having had numerous fish all doubles.

21/9/13 John has been  having a steady flow of doubles. Ivan and Shane both had a few up to high doubles and Teresa caught a 12lb 8oz on a float rod!

27/9/13 Teresa had plenty of carp -all doubles I think as well as some lovely roach over 1lb. John D was about to go after having a good week- catch details to follow. John D also finished his visit having had eight mirrors to about 13lb and eighteen commons to 18lb 14oz.

4/10/13 Anglers doing day sessions have all had fish. Steve and Lizzie had had some good upper doubles.

5/10/13 Gary Edwards had an enjoyable weekend, ending up with six fish up to a common of 23lb 12oz.

7/10/13 Colin and Adam are in the middle of a good session having had seven carp for Colin up to 19lb and eight so far for Adam up to 16lb.

10/10/13 As proof that good deeds get rewarded John had his PB from Coot in the form of a 22lb 2oz common. Thank you John for all your help in clearing away the massive tree that fell over, despite your bad back-very much appreciated.

19/10/13 Teresa had a 19+ on a float rod and Rick Hale had a best fish of 17lb.

27/10/13 Coot Lake continues to fish well with multiple catches reported. John finished his session a few days ago and had plenty of fish up to 22lb 2oz. Paul Robinson and Harry(or Tom!!) had several and Ivan Woodrow regularly does well. The carp in Coot Lake are plentiful and there is always the chance of a good twenty. There is at least one bigger fish in there which is worth catching.

13/12/13 Recently people have been fishing Coot Lake with moderate success. Ivan fished last weekend and had a couple out. Lee Price had a 16lb, Steve Hicks had two out-biggest 20lb and Simon Flaxman did a night and had four to just under 16lb. A few other people have fished odd days and have had a few out. Most people have at least had a bend in their rods at a difficult time of year.

15/12/13 Paul Robinson did an overnighter and had four doubles. Harry Green also had four. Whilst brother Tom landed three all good doubles.

24/12/13 Gary Edwards had a good 24 hours with ten carp to over 20lb. Lee Price had six out in an overnighter and a few others have caught also.

Not much to report from Coot lake but adam lowbridge had three small ones out 19/2/14

21/2/14 Gary Edwards had four carp to 17lb in an overnight session.

4/3/14 Darren Marchant did an overnighter and had a 23lb common

11/3/14 Darren had three this time in his overnight session-biggest 21lb +. John D alias Big John has had at least one too.

16/3/14 John finished his session with six carp. Teresa had two 14lb + over the weekend and Mark’s guest had already had three to over 20lb.

20/3/14 Ben ended up with sixteen carp over two days –the best being a 21lb 13oz mirror and a 19lb 8oz common.

22/3/14 John Luff did an overnight session and had seven carp to 18lb as well as two bream. Gary Edwards had seven on an overnighter to 21lb.

29/3/14 Heard that several doubles came out over the weekend

1/4/14 Ian Jarrold had six to 20lb and Aaron Nolan also had at least one twenty. Lewis Mulholland had an eighteen pounder.

4/4/14Well done to young  Callum Johnson who had five carp to 15lb 14oz – obviously a chip off the old block!

24/4/14 Coot continues to produce, with everyone catching. Recently Tereas has had a few up to 15lb 8oz. Jason Wright was catching a few including a beautiful ghostie of 13lb 8oz.

30/4/14 John D hadn’t been going too long when within the space of a few minutes he had an 11lb 6oz and then a 22lb + carp. John ended up with eleven carp.

7/5/14 Roger Dix did an afternoon and had four carp to over 21lb.

22/5/14 Big John finished his session with eleven commons(mostly mid to top doubles) and a notable PB of 22lb 3oz and two mirrors of 16lb 5oz and 16lb 3oz. Barry  and Tony had a good session with fourteen and twelve carp respectively

9/7/14 Lots of fish have been coming out of Coot Lake but the best recently have been a 26lb 2oz mirror and a 19lb common caught in the same session by Terry Buckley.

19/7/14 Iain Betson had a 15lb and an 18lb and Big John had already had a single, three doubles and a 22lb 5oz -all commons.

31/7/14 John finished his session having had 29 carp, mainly low doubles but topped by a 22lb 5oz Coot Lake PB.

3/8/14 Darren and Martin had a bit of afternoon sport -thirteen between them

5/8/14 Martin brought grandson Bailey for an afternoon and they had sixteen up to 17lb.

8/8/14 Harry and Gavin reckon they had every fish in the lake in a super two day session-up to 23lb.

16/9/14 John went home having had 24 fish, mostly in the mid teens range and although no ‘biggies’ only one single so a good average weight.

30/9/14 Just passing as Terry Buckley was landing an 18lb mirror.
