Virginia Lake is 25 acres plus. It has 32 swims with varying depths of water up to 4 metres. In 2013 so far more than forty carp of over 30lb have been caught. The biggest recorded carp was a 36lb 11oz common caught in May 2013

The largest pike in the last few years came out at 31lb and several cats have been hooked recently. For the coarse angler the tench, bream, roach, rudd and perch are outstanding.
