I am sad to report that ‘The Woodcarving’ was found dead on Monday. It had very bad mouth damage and could possibly have been tethered. Whatever the reason we are sad to lose such a distinctive big fish

Very sad news. The woodcarving was one of Virginias A – Team . Great carp sad loss.
That is a real shame, I’m sorry for your loss, I’ve never seen the Woodcarving but it’s name is legendary. Worrying thought that it may have been an angler at fault.
