It’s starting to pick up!
Weekend 6th/8th March A few carp out this weekend. Paul R had a 29lb 10oz mirror as well as an eighteen pounder. Rob had at least one and there were a couple of other doubles out. Previously Mark had a 19lb 10oz,

Coot provides best chance of a bite.
Once again Coot Lake proves to be the best chance of catching during the winter, especially it’s just a day’s fishing. People have had up to four or five in a day-typical Coot carp between 12lb and 20lb.
Winter lull!
It has been pretty quiet over the last couple of months and any fishing has been slow. There have been a few fish out mainly high doubles or low twenties from what I have heard. I know Ben had a 23lb 7oz out at the weekend. Still spring is just around the corner now so better times ahead!
