On Tuesday 23rd June the local scout group will be doing one of their badges, by clearing some paths and swims. We plan to let them work on the track between Virginia and the growing on ponds as this is usually not occupied by anglers. They will be there between 7pm and 9pm. They will also be there Tues 29th June and Tues 6th July being instructed in basic angling skills by some EA instructors. We hope that members will be forbearing and understanding as this is a worthwhile community based activity which shouldn’t cause any undue inconvenience. Of course, if anyone feels they would like to help and bring a swim rake, loppers etc then any extra hands would be most welcome.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
